IT Application Administrator

Levi’s Building Components, a leader in the metal roofing accessories industry, is looking for the right person to join our expanding team.  We are looking for an IT Applications Administrator who will be responsible for configuring and maintaining company’s computers, servers, networks, software, and security systems alongside our existing 3rd party vendors. Other key responsibilities would include:
 
Issue Processing
  • Troubleshoot any new issues submitted by team members.
  • Submit service tickets with the appropriate software companies as needed.
  • Follow up on any open tickets on a regular basis.
  • Communicate with team members throughout the process of solving an issue.
  • Monitor system performance to stay ahead of potential issues.
  • Pull in the Director of Continuous Improvements to evaluate challenging issues as needed.
Improvements
  • Evaluate and implement new improvement ideas from team members.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge base of Levi’s ERP setup and specific processes.
  • Perform ongoing research and evaluation of new or unused functionality and its potential application.
  • Facilitate process review sessions with various departments to find new opportunities to improve the system.
  • Utilize tools such as generic inquiries, business events, dashboards, customization projects, etc. to improve efficiency and productivity throughout ERP.
  • Manage the customization projects in ERP.
  • Maintain a downloaded library with proper versioning.
  • Unpublish and publish after hours as necessary for new customizations and application upgrades.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting analysis for application upgrades and implementation of new customizations.
  • Build out and manage user access rights as needed.
  • Collaborate with and assist the Director of Continuous Improvement on evaluation and implementation of large-scale initiatives (i.e. Warehouse Management System).
Training
  • Train team members on new functionality prior to implementation.
  • Facilitate refresher training sessions as necessary.
Education
  • Spend time observing and learning the various processes of all Levi’s departments.
  • Look for ways to continuously expand expertise and knowledge of the software and its customization potential.
  • Build relationships throughout the ERP community.
  • Attend software conferences if/when it makes sense to do so.
  • Participate in the local ERP user group. 

 The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
  • BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent experience. 
  • Self-starter and quick learner as it relates to business applications, business processes, and information technologies.
  • Proven ability to work in fast paced environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong customer service experience and advanced analytical and problem-solving skill.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and organize information, work independently, and use good judgment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
